Pet Day

Woohoo! It was pet day. First we saw Wags and Whiskers clip and shave Piper. We enjoyed it. Corby was next she is a Golden Receiver, it's Ben's dog. She got washed. Corby likes Max.

Pets got to dress up, Susa brought her 11 rabbits. The boys wore shirts and girls wore dresses. Dog obedience was fun! Nathan's sheep was so smart he knows 2+2=4 cool!!
Trever brought his yummy ice cream too!!

It was a fantastic day.

Ice cream bus

A few days ago Trevor came to Appleby School.He told us what expenses and profit means.He gave us delicious and yummy ice cream. Expenses means that he buys stuff to make the ice cream.Profit is he gets to keep a little bit to keep.Thank you Trevor!

Mask Parade

Masks

We have followed the design process to create masks!

These masks tell a story about us. We had to do four working drawings
and make two changes to the design we liked the most and then we made
our masks. We are very impressed at our final designs.
We had a mini parade and took some photos of us wearing our masks.

Eclipse

Miss Brydon used Emily's orange, Max's grape and Mr B's torch to explain to us what happens when there is an eclipse.From our experiment we think the moon will look red and have some shadows on it.Some of us are going to stay up after our bed time to watch the eclipse tonight.How exciting!

Look Who Came To Appleby School......

We had two players, Robbie and Mark from the Tasman Makos come and talk to us on Wednesday.
We asked them lots of question and then they asked us some questions! Some of us won posters for getting their question correct and Brittany even won a t-shirt!
We got to hang out with them and some of us even got their autographs!
It was all very exciting.
